The AZ K9 Conference will start 2 days earlier than SARCON to allow K9 Handlers to attend SARCON Classes.

The Details:

Limit:  8 handler/dog teams per discipline.

K9 Attendees must commit to 1 workshop.  Splitting workshops will not be permitted.


  • $65.00 SARCON Conference Cost and
  • $60.00 per handler/dog working spots or
  • $30.00 per observer/auditor
  • Meal tickets sold separately
  • Housing / Walk in costs additional.

All Participants must currently be on a County Affiliated SAR team or Civil Air Patrol. 

Registration will be available in Mid January from this site.

Jason is owner of Ardent K9Training on Cottonwood, AZ.  He also serves on the Jerome Police Department as a K9 consultant and K9 handler

Air Scent:  Neil Day, Instructor

Neil is owner of All Day Dogs Adventures in Columbia Falls, MT.  He served 15 years in law enforcement in London and 14 years of experience in search and rescue.

HRD Dr. Ben Alexander, Instructor

Ben has been in search and rescue since 2000.  Dr. Alexander is the K9 Training Director and facilitator of the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State, (FACTS) located in San Marcos, Tx. 


Discipline Instruction and scenarios, Emergency K9 Medical class (4/22) & AZ DPS K9 Helicopter Class (4/22), K9 Good Citizen (4/22)
