SARCON 2019

SARCON 2019 was held May 3-5 in Heber, Arizona at Camp Ponderosa.   

SARCON is a biennial training event for Arizona Search and Rescue Volunteers that are affiliated with either a Sheriff’s Agency or Civil Air Patrol and is put on by the Arizona Search and Rescue Coordinators Association.  

Classes included K-9 tracks; mandatory task book classes such as Map & Compass, Tracker 3, CPR & First Aid, Helo Safety, Wilderness Survival; Advanced classes in Technical Rescue; and fun classes such as Primitive Fire Starting.
